Walkerville Junior football Club will hold registration day at the clubrooms, Smith Street Walkerville, on Sunday February 10th from 9am. We have allotted times below for each team.

New players are invited to register on February 10th and will need to download 3 documents; a Walkerville registration form for new players, a registration form from our association (NEMJFA), and an instructions sheet. These 3 documents are available on the dowloads page.

WJFC will be co-coordinating an Auskick Centre this year, giving younger boys a program to learn and develop their football skills. Please let your families and friends know. We have already had many offers from volunteers to help.
You will see that there is a new Auskick entry in the web  site menu bar, where you can download registration forms and other information.

Season 2008 will begin with registration day, to be held at Walkerville oval on Sunday February 10th.

The Walkerville Under 14s and Under 12s both won their Grand Finals today at Hectorville.

The Under 14s kicked a convincing 13.16.94 against Smithfield's 5.6.35, while the U12s won a thriller against Payneham. Daniel Tanczos kicked truly inside the final minute to get us home 6.5.41 over Payneham's 5.7.37.

All boys played their best and got the result. Congratulations to the players, coaching staff, team managers, parents, grandparents and everyone else who came along to support the club.

Both the Under 12 and 14 teams will play grand finals at Daly Oval (Hectorville's ground) Fisher St. Magil on Sunday. The Under 12 team will play against Payneham NU Red at 10am and the Under 14's will play agaist Smithfild at 1pm. It would be great to get as many Walkerville families as possible to support both teams. The Walkerville Clubrooms will be open for hopeful celebrations following the games. All the best to both teams!

Congratulations to the Under 12s and Under 14s for making the finals. Both teams will play the first round of finals at Athelstone football club on Sunday 26th August. The Under 12 team finished second, and will play against PNU at 12 midday, and the Under 14 team finished top and will play against Smithfield at 2.40. It would be great to see as many Walkerville families there as possible to help support our teams. GO CATS!
