The NEMJFA every year has a carnival againt the Central Districts Junior Football League up at Centrals "Hamra Homes" Oval for Association representative teams. This year we congratulate the following boys from our Club in making their respective age group teams:

U9: Oscar Chapman and Ned Kennett
U10: Will Hayward and Harry Osti
U11: Vinnie Rocca and David Grant
U12: Callum Wilkie and Venkha Shanker

The WJFC Second Oval, which was at  Bundeys road, North Adelaide,  is now:

The Walkerville Junior Football Club Under 11–15 teams and family members are invited for a get together to celebrate the beginning of the season at the Walkerville Club Rooms on Friday, 4th April  from 6.30 pm.

Food and a soft drink will be provided free for the players, and the bar will be open for parents and friends.

A great chance to get together with your team in a relaxed atmosphere.

There are still places for boys who would like to play football this winter. Under 9, Born 1999; Under 12, Born 1996; Under 14, born 1994 and Under 15, born 1993. Walkerville do not hold tryouts for entry into any teams.  It is club policy that all players are given equal game time!Just go to the downloads page and download the instructions sheet and registration forms for our association NEMJFA, and for Walkerville. Would you like to contribute to junior football at association level? The NE Metro Junior Football Fassociation (NEMFJA) urgently need a Treasurer and Minutes Secretary.  These positions  entail 2 -3  hours work per week and do not require attendance at matches.  If you are interested, please contact NEMFJA through its new web site.

We are still looking for players for a second Under 9 team at Walkerville.  If your son turned or will turn 9 in 2008 we would love to have him play for Walkerville.  Training is on Wednesday evening at Walkerville Oval.  Please go to the down-loads page for all registration details. Both the Under 8 teams and the Under 10 team are full.  There are still a couple of places in our Under 12 team
