The WJFC is planning to hold the 2010 Registration Day on Sunday February 7th, 2010 at the WJFC Clubrooms on Smith St. Walkerville.  Exact times and instructions will be added at a later date but please put it into your diaries for next year.

It is with great pleasure that that the WJFC congratulates Milo Mawby - U11 and Lachy Glynn - U14 for winning the association medal in their age divisions this year.
We also wish to congratulate Vince Rocca - U12 and Callum Wilke - U13 as they were awarded the Runners-up for the Association Medal in their age divisions also.
A great personal result for the boys - well done!!!

The WJFC wishes to congratulate the U13 Red team and its Coach - David Serotzki for winning the Grand Final against PNU by 6 goals last Sunday.  It capped of a great year on the field for the team as they went through the season undefeated.

Walkerville Under 8's in the media

Recently the 2009 SAPSASA Football Carnival was held at West Beach and Walkerville Junior Football Club has many players represented - specifically in the East Adelaide Districts (the Div 2 undefeated Champions).  We also had players in the Southern Heights (Div 1 - Champions) and the North Adelaide Districts (Div 2).  Made up of mostly year 7 students, WJFC had players from both the U12s and U13s represented.

Recently the NEMJFA U9s to U12s played against the Central District Junior Football League teams at Athelstone.  Walkerville players who represented the Association were :
U9:  Jackson Hately
U10:  Oscar Chapman and Darcy Blacker
U11:  Harry Osti
U12:  David Grant and Vinnie Rocca
Congratulations also to Vinnie who was awarded the best on ground for the U12 match.
All NEMJFA teams comprehensively defeated the CDJFL teams.

 Walkerville Junior Football Club is proud to announce that Vinnie Rocca (U12s) has been selected in the South Australian State U12 team to play in Queensland at the National Carnival.

Jack Klemich ,who tragically died from an overwhelming Meningococcal infection this week will be remembered by the Walkerville Junior Football Club as a talented and popular footballer who played approximately 75 games for "The Walky Cats" finishing in 2005 at the Under 15 level. The Club extends its sincere sympathies to the Klemich family.

All NEMJFA football has been cancelled this weekend due to the Swine Flu outbreak.
