U/8 Blue v Kilburn The team continues to play some really good football and displayed this again on Friday night under lights at Kilburn. The highlight of the game was some outstanding team play with “chains” of kicks and marks resulting in goals for the team. We had many good players including Jock Burton, Sam Warren with some unbelievable marks, Julian McPeake, Luke Turner, James McGuiness and our Bernie Vince Award winner Jackson Rees. A special mention also goes to Ralph McIntosh who played his best game this season. Thanks to all the parents for the great support and coming out on such a cold night! How old to play for Walkerville in 2012 Next season we will be putting together teams from U6 through to U15s and perhaps even an U16s. To play in certain ages you need to be born in the following calendar years: U15 - 1997 U16.5 - 1.7.95 to 31.12.96 - not confirmed if age group will be entered.
