Walkerville vs Athlestone Blue

Another good team performance from the U/8’s.

The highlight of the team’s performance was that every player contributed in some way with all boys playing a range of positions. Angus Gniel continued with his good season and was awarded the Bernie Vince award. There were many other good performances including Kane Mareolas, Julian McPeake, Jackson Rees, Ben Belperio, Jude Band & Brodie Bradford. Special mention goes to James McGuinness who continues to be a great player but more importantly great team man and Ethan Schwerdt who continued his good play with 5 goals.

Thanks to all the parents who lined the race out from the change rooms before the game – it may seem like a small thing but to see the smiles on all the boys faces as they run out is priceless and gives the boys a such a positive experience about playing the game.
