Walkerville U8 Blue vs Modbury Brown It was clearly our teams best performance for the season. With an emphasis on the boys playing their positions the team played some great team football with ball being brought for the backline to the forward line on numerous occasions with a chain of kicks, marks and handballs. It was clearly a game where all played well is appropriate however there were a few boys who deserve a special mention as they played their best game so far including; Jackson Rees, Alex Karytinos, Jock Burton, Sam Warren & Kane Mareolas. Also worthy of special mention was Luke Turner with his courageous attack on the ball, James McGuiness, Ben Belperio and Peter Unerkov with their usual great team play and Ethan Schwerdt with his best game so far with him winning the weekly Bernie Vince award. How old to play for Walkerville in 2012 Next season we will be putting together teams from U6 through to U15s and perhaps even an U16s. To play in certain ages you need to be born in the following calendar years: U15 - 1997 U16.5 - 1.7.95 to 31.12.96 - not confirmed if age group will be entered.
