Walkerville U13  1 6 - 12 lost to Modbury 3 9 - 27


A good hard slog with the ball rebounding from the half back lines for both teams on many occasions.  The skills of our players as a whole seemed to drop off a bit as too often the ball was kicked behind the leading player, or blazed forward.  Whilst Modbury put great pressure on the contest, our players seemed to rush their disposal too often and this manifested itself in a number of easy shots on goals missing.  However this was an issue for our whole team.  Yet again our defence was solid and strong, continuing to repel the Modbury attacks and driving the ball forward.  We hope for an improved effort next week.
