Walkerville  9.7-61 def Eastern Park  6.6-42
Another battle against Eastern Park as both teams fought hard to claim the ascendency during a tight tussle.  The boys responded to the Coach's request in the third term and played fast flowing footy resulting in a purple patch of 4 quick goals.  Depeleted by injuries the team and its fill-ins did well to keep control of the game and fight back after a lacklustre first quarter.  4 quarter performances by many players also made a difference with Walkerville seeming to have the fitness to run out the game.  The players must continue to work hard around the ground by getting into good positions to help out their team mates and as a result the team benefits.  A week off and then a top of the table clash with Modbury.
