Memories of a Walkerville Great Grand Mother!

The coach of the Under 15's received this lovely letter after Mothers Day

Dear Phil,   I just wanted to say what a lovely idea it was to give all of the mums the beautiful orchids on Mothers day.  It was much appreciated!  Liam's 90 year old great nan was there to watch the game, along with my mum, and my five year old daughter Holly so there were 4 generations there on mothers day.  Liam's great nan is Lola Hawke and she has fond memories of watching Liam's great grandad playing for walkerville along with his brother Drib Hawke (who went on to win a magarey medal for north adelaide) in the 1930's.  She remembers walking my mum to walkerville oval in a pram to watch the games.  So thanks for making a special day even more special with such a kind thought.  Cheers, Sharee (Liam's mum).
